In July 2017, we purchased a rental property in Smithfield S.A. For peace of mind, we chose a locally-based agency to manage the property – Kevin Hodges Real Estate.
We realized very quickly that this was an excellent choice. We were dealing with REAL people who were not only highly efficient, but had a heart and showed real warmth towards both home owners and lessees. Our new property was leased within a very short time, without fuss or issues to be faced by us.
We felt so comfortable and secure in this business arrangement that we asked Kevin to inform us when a similar property came up for sale through them. Within six weeks we owned our second Smithfield rental property.

I really like the reliable professional customer service I receive from Kevin Hodges Real Estate. They have very knowledgeable staff who are tough but fair minded with tenants. Everything is explained well, and they keep me informed of any events/changes e.g. legislation. The staff keep on top of any issues with tenants before they become major issues. All this adds up to peace of mind that my property is looked after.
Kevin Hodges is an honest and trustworthy man. The staff provide excellent service. In particular, Julie works tirelessly on our behalf. She is such good value!
They represent me and my investment, liasing between me and the tenants instead of me having to do it. Communication and feedback is their priority.

As property managers, he and his staff are the best! They excel at securing reliable tenants for rental properties. They give timely, detailed inspection reports. We are advised promptly if there is any problem with a property, enabling us to follow through quickly with maintenance or repairs. Statements are provided on time at the end of each month, showing all income and expenses for that period, with the net income deposited into our bank account fortnightly.
Being property investors has certainly been a means of wealth accumulation for us over the years, and we would highly recommend anybody to include property in their investment portfolios.
To sum up, Kevin Hodges Real Estate completely take any worry out of being landlords!
We would like to say thank you for handling our property over the last few years, We started with Maria and then eventually on to you. You have had some difficult things to deal with i.e. fence replacement (which involved dealing with two other fence sharers), air conditioner problems, wet ceiling and evicting "Mr Steptoe". You had to deal with us long distance and you kept us up to date on any problems etc that arose.
